In this role, you’ll lead and work on projects that are designed by CPH’s Community Development Team with a focus on the site civil aspects of the design including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, construction plan preparation, and permitting. These projects are for a variety of clients locally, regionally, and throughout the U.S. Projects include parks and recreation, operations and public works complexes, public safety, education and institutional projects, airport facilities, and localized and regional drainage systems. You will lead the team and projects from initial concept and due diligence through permitting and construction. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, technical reports, calculations, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare permits such as ERPs (Environmental Resource Permits), FDEP NPDES, SWPPP, grading, utilities (FDEP and FDOH), and civil support for local county/city site development permitting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planning, environmental, transportation, and surveying.
