A premier global engineering firm is looking for a seasoned civil engineering specialist to help lead flagship water resources and energy projects throughout the region. This position offers a direct track to project leadership and technical authority on high-stakes public works, flood protection, and water storage systems.
Primary Directives
- Lead design execution and project delivery for complex water, dam, and energy infrastructure projects.
- Direct multi-disciplinary engineering teams, providing technical review, design sign-off, and mentorship.
- Manage full project life cycles—from initial scoping, budget allocation, and proposal development through final construction administration.
- Interface directly with regional public agencies, utility districts, and municipal partners to ensure program alignment.
- Oversee site inspections, structural/hydrologic evaluations, and construction-phase oversight.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Structural, or Geological Engineering.
- Licensure: Active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license with eligibility for California endorsement.
- Experience: 8+ years focused on heavy civil infrastructure, water resource modeling, hydraulic structures, or power generation facilities.
- Direct background managing project budgets, scope documentation, and interdisciplinary engineering groups.
Valued Technical Skillsets
- Design proficiency with modern civil engineering software suites (e.g., Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, or equivalent modeling tools).
- Experience with flood defense networks (pump stations, levees, conveyance channels) or dam safety/rehabilitation programs.
- Familiarity with public utility operations, irrigation districts, or federal/state water management bodies.
- Base Salary Range: $115,000 – $170,000 per year (commensurate with background and licensing).
