Job summary

Q1 Technologies, Inc. seeks an accomplished program manager for semiconductor MES and factory automation projects in the Fremont area. The role demands deep onsite project leadership, end-to-end governance, and the ability to coordinate with business, engineering, IT, vendors, and offshore teams.

You will own the integrated project plan, drive requirements workshops, and manage risks, issues, and milestones while ensuring quality and customer acceptance across locations and time zones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in program management for semiconductor MES and factory automation.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end delivery planning, scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risks, dependencies, and commitments.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills across onsite and offshore teams.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, Camstar/Opcenter MES, factory automation, equipment integration, and SECS/GEM standards.
• Experience leading requirements, fit-gap analyses, governance, development, testing, deployment, and handover.
• Ability to establish governance, status reporting, RAID, change control, escalation paths, and exec communication.
• Strong understanding of MES architecture and equipment/host integrations, recipe mamagement, scheduling, data collection, SPC.
• PM tools proficiency; Agile/Hybrid delivery; PMP/JIRA preferred.
• Excellent documentation, testing governance, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Serve as the primary onsite customer contact and own day-to-day delivery governance.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure timely decisions and delivery readiness.
• Lead requirements workshops, fit-gap reviews, alignment, prioritization, and change control.
• Drive execution across design, dev, integration, testing, UAT, deployment, and support transition.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, actions, decisions; escalate blockers with impact.
• Provide weekly status, dashboards, forecasts, and steering updates.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, documentation, validation, security, and acceptance.

Job description

• Proven ownership of end-to-end delivery planning, scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risks, dependencies, and customer commitments
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience coordinating onsite business, engineering, IT, vendors, and offshore delivery teams
• Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, Siemens Camstar/Opcenter MES, factory automation, equipment integration, and SECS/GEM standards
• Experience leading requirements, fit‑gap analysis, design governance, development, testing, UAT, deployment, hypercare, and operational handover
• Ability to establish governance, status reporting, RAID management, change control, escalation paths, and executive communication
• Strong understanding of MES architecture and integrations with equipment, host systems, recipe management, scheduling, data collection, SPC, and related production systems
• Proficiency with project management tools and Agile/Hybrid delivery methodologies; PMP, JIRA, or equivalent certification is preferred

• Track and manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, actions, and decisions; elevate blockers with clear impact and mitigation
• Provide accurate weekly status, dashboards, forecasts, executive summaries, and steering‑committee updates
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, documentation, validation, security, and customer acceptance requirements
