Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Project Manager at our Laurel, MD location to lead security systems projects for hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. You will ensure schedules, budgets, and safety compliance, coordinating engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to deliver complex installations on time.

Responsibilities include evaluating drawings and specs, sourcing materials, guiding subcontractors, detailing scope of work, tracking progress, and coordinating billing with accounting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; experience in commercial security access/CCTV preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, electrical, network and control wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; valid driver's license and eligibility for Siemens fleet program.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate project specifications, drawings and documents to establish schedules with the team.
  • Oversee procurement of supplies and materials and participate in cost reviews.
  • Assist Operations Manager in contracting subcontractors and coordinating activities with safety and scope.
  • Conduct orientations for project technicians with scope of work and diagrams.
  • Track resources and progress, document schedule-impact events, and pursue change orders.
  • Coordinate project billing with accounting and Operations Manager, and manage close-out documentation.
