Vantor is seeking a Project Manager to unite engineering teams, mission stakeholders, and partners to shape resilient remote-sensing programs for national security. You will coordinate testing, evaluation, and verification activities while identifying risks and ensuring timely delivery of capabilities.

The role requires DoD process experience, 4+ years in project management, and a Secret clearance, with on-site work 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with project management.
• 4+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning, project management, and business operations.
• Experience managing programmatic risk including cost, schedule, and performance.
• Experience with DoD 5000.02 acquisition directives.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or technical discipline.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

By combining disciplined program execution with innovative engineering methodologies, you’ll help keep critical work aligned, moving forward, and ready for the mission.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with project management
• 4+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning, project management, and business operations
• Experience managing programmatic risk including cost, schedule, and performance
• Experience with DoD 5000.02 acquisition directives
• Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
• Ability to interface with internal and external customers
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or technical discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Confluence or JIRA
• Experience with the military space systems
• Experience with the DoD acquisition system
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience working new technology programs for embedded systems
• Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or technical discipline
• Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II or higher

Certification Clearance: Secret

The position will require at least 2-3x per week on site. Meetings/schedules may require more days on site.

Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

• The base pay for this position within California is: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
