Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in agile projects – strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• 5+ years of requirements management. Oversees milestones and may require coordinating & writing technical documents and business process flows.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior experience with system administrators.
• Experience with developing SELC documents.
• Skills with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and the Atlassian suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with a team or individually.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the delivery of projects and managing dependencies with other project teams.

• Working knowledge of SELC and associated documentation (project plans, charters, business cases, requirements documents, test plans, reports, etc.).

• Translating captured requirements into technical documentation for infrastructure and application teams.

SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented mid-level Project Manager/SCRUM Master to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career in Ashburn, VA.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with middleware teams and technical leads for day-to-day planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting for mission critical infrastructure projects and cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for:

• Coordinating the delivery of projects and managing all dependencies with other project teams within the organization.
• Leading infrastructure teams in a hybrid work environment.
• Facilitating critical conversations between stakeholders that may include shifting or competing priorities, conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Working knowledge of SELC and associated documentation (project plans, charters, business cases, requirements documents, test plans, reports, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge and prior experience working with software application project teams that use an agile Scrum methodology.
• Working closely with business and solution resources to define, analyze and document requirements/user stories.
• Working with senior executives, clients and business analysts to gather requirements. Interpret and translatethe captured technical and non-functional requirements into technical documentation that can be used by both the infrastructure team and application teams to develop software.
• Prior experience with migrating on-prem technology platforms to the cloud.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior experience working with system administrators .
• Experience with developing SELC documents.
• Skills and knowledge utilizing Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and the Atlassian suite of tools.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to thrive in a busy, deadline driven atmosphere.
• Ability to adapt quickly, work in a challenging and fast paced environment with a team, as well as individually.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills andorganizationalskills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification a plus.
• Familiar with:
  • SAP Business Objects.
  • Data loading/ingestion (ETL is a plus).
  • Security vulnerability remediation/documentation.
  • AWS Cloud (Cloud Concepts).

Customer Requirements:

• Clearance – Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation.
• Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen.
• Location – Hybrid with on-site (Ashburn, VA) visit 1 day per week (Mondays) and if a mission need. All candidates must be within the GWA/commutable area.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
