Job description

  • Manage departmental operations for community outreach-focused studies under the Memory and Aging Project (MAP)
  • Oversee implementation of department operational activities
  • Provide leadership on daily department operations
  • Manage departmental projects, programs, and Cores
  • Optimize day-to-day workflows among multiple staff
  • Partner with the research team to cultivate culturally tailored care, increase diversity and inclusion, and provide a welcoming research environment
  • Manage research, core projects, and training and/or dissemination programs
  • Lead research projects and manage staff performing project components
  • Optimize workflows for community-based clinical and cognitive assessments
  • Provide technical and managerial expertise for culturally tailored study and project implementation
  • Participate in developing research grants and contracts
  • Oversee accounting functions, project budgets, expenditures, and school grants supporting center work
  • Supervise staff
  • Conduct community engagement and occasionally work at community partner centers in addition to Washington University
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
