The Role

The Project Manager manages all facets of a construction program, including development, coordination, and implementation of a schedule to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with expected quality. The role involves liaising between team members and clients, overseeing projects typically ranging from $1,500,000 and up.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor
• Experience managing multiple projects, subcontractors, and vendors
• Proficiency in producing detailed fixed price estimates using RS Means or similar
• Effective negotiating skills
• Resource management skills including operations support, vendors, subcontractors, and time
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, communicate with team members, ensure contract compliance
• Develop and review scope of work, negotiate with clients and subcontractors
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Engage in business development activities
• Ensure safety compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations
• Travel between project sites as needed, with occasional travel required
• Perform duties in an office environment and on construction sites under various weather conditions
• Physical demands include walking, sitting, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and visual acuity

Compensation

The salary range is $63,600 to $146,103, based on experience and qualifications.
