Climate Pros, LLC is seeking a Project Manager Refrigeration to oversee the overall project plan for construction activities, delivering projects on budget and within cost targets. You will work with clients, providing status updates on timelines and budgeted costs and will manage change orders documentation for multiple commercial retail projects.

The role is hybrid, office 2–3 days per week, with travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality projects on tight schedules.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's/Associate/Trade Certificate preferred.

Responsabilités

• Create and execute project work plans, including tracking resources and revising as needed.
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
• Establish clear project roles and responsibilities.
• Coordinate planning for communication, project risk, change management and training.
• Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
• Resolve and/or escape issues in a timely fashion.
• Communicate effectively with project teams to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Gather and review construction documents.
• Work with other Project Managers during bidding, negotiation, and post bid process.
• Visit job sites to monitor production/quality assurance.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging ones.
• Maintain working relationships with local Union Representatives and Union Technicians.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Summary

The Project Manager Refrigeration oversees implementing the overall project plan for construction activities, delivering the projects within budget and at pre-determined cost level. This individual will work closely with the client providing status updates on timelines as well as budgeted costs and will be responsible for all documentation for change orders. The PM will most likely be working on multiple projects for the commercial retail client.

Position is hybrid working out of the office 2-3 days a week, with travel to customer project sites. It is preferred that candidates reside within 50 miles of the Huntingdon Valley, PA office.

Desired Skills, Certifications, and Education

• 5+ years of Commercial Refrigeration experience is a must.


• Experience working with and effectively leading cross functional teams.


• Strong skills with Word, Excel and Power Point skills required.


• Proven ability to deliver high-quality projects on tight schedules.


• Strong and effective decision making skills.


• Bachelor's Degree, Associate’s degree, or Trade Certificate education preferred.


• PMP certification a plus.


• Be an honest team player, growth-oriented, ability to do whatever it takes; safely!

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; noise level is usually moderate.


• All employees may be required to visit a customer site and/or complete a ride along with a field technician as part of their employment.
