Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Manager, Project & Development Services in the United States. You will manage the design, planning, and construction of real estate facilities projects, coordinating scope, budgets, and schedules to meet client objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to travel within Southern California as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Solid project management skills with demonstrated understanding of project management business.
  • Experience in client relations, client management and consulting.
  • Autonomously able to manage a complete project from onset through completion.
  • Read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
  • Prepare and track master project budgets.
  • Highly organized with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Understanding of technical requirements for various project types.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Provides guidance to junior staff.
  • Experience with analysis and reporting.
  • Ground-up Industrial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project deliverables, including scope of work, scheduling, and drawing development.
  • Proactively manage project-related issues.
  • Ensure initiation, planning, execution, and completion align with targets.
  • Maintain high standards and organize electronic files.
  • Prepare agendas, lead meetings, and manage budgets/timelines.
  • Coordinate approvals for changes and expenditures.
  • Track vendor RFQs and RFPs; review change orders and invoices.
