Our extensive range of experience includes industrial, commercial, large mixed-use, hospitality, healthcare, education, municipal and multi- and single-family residential projects. From large-scale industrial projects to preliminary feasibility studies, our goal is to provide value through creative and cost-effective design solutions. We currently have 4 locations across Texas and growing: Houston, The Woodlands, Austin and San Antonio.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager in the Houston office, you will:

  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates and requires an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination;
  • Devises alternative approaches and solutions to design problems;
  • Engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, construction coordination and delivery phases for:
  • Water Infrastructure (wells, transmission systems, tanks and pump stations)
  • Wastewater Infrastructure (conveyance systems, lift stations, treatment plants, and odor control)
  • Roadway Infrastructure (arterials, collectors, residential, and corresponding drainage)
  • Municipal master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation, and expansion
  • Development reviews and construction oversight.
  • Manage day to day communication with junior staff;
  • Ability to guide and execute on general consultation tasks;
  • Building and maintaining relationships between team members and collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost and client requirements are implemented;
  • Ensure that plans and projects are completed in accordance with company standards and industry best practices;
  • Coordinating with outside sub-consultants;
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, project schedules, and works closely with project team;
  • Mentoring to junior staff;
  • The candidate must have experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects and reviews, and a desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Maintain regular and prompt attendance at WGA Austin office (when it becomes available);
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Close proximity to Elgin, TX preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
  • Texas Professional Engineer registration or ability to become one within 6 months of hire date
  • 4+ years of direct experience
