Job summary

Thomas & Hutton in the United States seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to lead site development projects from concept through construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver design solutions that meet scope and schedule.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage water, sewer and storm drainage drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ensure quality, budgets, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Experience managing civil site development projects for residential, commercial, and/or industrial clients.
• Strong understanding of civil site design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing focus.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience guiding project teams.
• Understanding of business metrics for project success.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow.

On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
