Shentel is seeking a Project Manager to ensure the timely, safe and cost effective management of departmental projects, coordinating with contractors, employees, vendors and other internal teams to achieve goals. The role requires 6+ years in telecommunications project management, 2+ years in leadership, and strong budgeting, communication and problem solving skills.

Relocation to our footprint may be necessary.

Formación

• 4 years of Telecommunications experience is Required.
• 6 years of Project Management experience is Required.
• 2 years of Leadership, supervisory, or related experience is Required.
• PMP, CAPM, BICSI or similar certifications strongly preferred.

• Manage departmental projects to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
• Project manage contractors, employees, vendors, third parties and other internal departments.
• Continuously reevaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency.

Job Summary

Project Manager ensures the timely, safe and cost effective management of departmental projects. Project manage contractors, employees, vendors, third parties and other internal departments to achieve stated goals. Additionally, the candidate must be competent at the full scope of project management duties associated with the departmental goals. Successful candidates must be able to manage in a team environment, working within the organization and cross departmentally. This position will continually reevaluate and improve processes in order to increase efficiency. Candidates must live in or near our operating footprint, or be willing to relocate to our footprint, as shown on the map/locations within this job posting.

Experience Level

• 4 years of Telecommunications experience is Required.
• 6 years of Project Management experience is Required.
• 2 years of Leadership, supervisory, or related experience is Required.
• Other candidates with a strong technical background and substantial industry or military experience will be considered.

Job Skills & Knowledge
