Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, and risk management strategies.
• Proficiency in standard applications and project-specific software; quick learner and capable of instructing others.
• Problem identification and anticipation; able to present solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with higher-level project management staff; projects may impact multiple functions and require team organization.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; at least one project management course required.

Required Experience

2-4 years in business, engineering, or related field; degree optional with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal project management training preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
