Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects using prescribed methods. Solid knowledge of project management techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, and risk management strategies.
• Expertise in standard applications and project-specific software; quick learner and capable of instructing others.
• Problem identification and anticipation, with the ability to present solutions.
• Experience consulting with higher-level project management staff and following established procedures. Projects may impact multiple functions and involve team organization.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one PM course required.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant experience in business, engineering, or related fields; degree optional.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in project management is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
