The role requires 5+ years as a formal PM, proficiency in Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid, and strong MS Project skills; PMP or MBA-related certifications are preferred. This is a part-time hybrid position with 40 hours/week schedule and some onsite days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a formal Project Manager with Tier II or higher.
• Experience delivering medium to extra-large projects across Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid.
• Strong ability to develop and manage PM artifacts and dashboards.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end direction, coordination and closure of large projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, change and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee vendor relationships and contract processes from initiation to closure.

Position Overview

Client is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join its Project Management Office (PMO). The PM will be responsible for end-to-end direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and closure of medium to extra-large complexity projects, ensuring alignment with agency strategy, mission, and goals. This is a non-technical / core technology PM role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Deliver standard PM artifacts: scope, charter, schedule, budget, risk mitigation, change management, stakeholder communication
• Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, contract process from initiation to closure
• Remove blockers, escalates issues, facilitate cross-functional groups
• Develop and manage project status reports and PMO dashboard metrics
• Forecast and manage resources to achieve objectives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency guidelines
• Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis and recommend improvements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a formal Project Manager - Minimum Tier Level II required
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid methodologies
• Strong proficiency in MS Project
• Solid understanding of PMI PMBOK Guide and Standards
• Experience managing medium to extra-large complexity projects
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in State Government, Regulatory, or Service-related business - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Education: Master's Degree - Project Management, MBA, MPH or related field
• Certifications: PMP, LSSBB, CSM preferred
• Non-technology and/or core technology PM experience
