Role Description

This is a contract Project Manager (PMI or PMO) role based in Oklahoma City, OK, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a mix of onsite and work-from-home. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring that deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating expediting activities, managing logistics and inspections, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and reporting status to internal and client stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining project documentation and governance standards, and supporting continuous improvement across PMO processes. The Project Manager will also ensure compliance with client requirements and organizational policies while fostering clear communication and alignment among all parties.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills, including the ability to track materials, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of project components.
• Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills, such as coordinating quality checks, validating compliance with specifications, and documenting findings.
• Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills, including organizing shipments, managing inventory flow, and optimizing supply chain activities for projects.
• Relevant professional certification such as PMP, PMI, or equivalent project management credential is preferred.
• Experience working in or with a PMO environment, with familiarity in standardized methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with proficiency in common project management tools and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in hybrid teams and interact with clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
