Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for Pipeline Rehabilitation in New Jersey to oversee construction, industrial, and municipal projects. You will lead scheduling, budgeting, and field operations while ensuring QA/QC standards and safety compliance.

A strong emphasis on Excel and MS Office is expected, with travel to sites as needed. Ideal candidates have engineering background or equivalent experience, proven management and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing CIPP, Manhole Coatings and other trenchless rehabilitation construction is required.
• Ability to travel for long and short-term projects.
• Extremely safety conscious and lead by example.
• Organized, detail-oriented with strong time management and MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Customer and Operations for project execution.
• Manage all cost tracking and revenue reporting/forecasting for the project.
• Schedule preparation and coordination with contractor schedules.
• Pre-planning, resource forecasting and inventory management.
• Assist management with major equipment and supply purchases.
• Attend construction planning meetings and site walks.
• Support quality control and safety across all projects.
• Provide job site assistance to manage field operations.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Review and approve vendor and customer invoices with project details.

The ProjectManager oversees all aspects of construction,industrialand municipal projects.Applicantmust havestrong communicationskills with prior management and construction experience or be a recent engineering graduate.Candidatewill overseeorganization, administration, and coordination of elements involved in the construction of a project.Applicantmustpossessleadership and computer skills with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel and an ability to oversee and manage field operations and crews, as well as have the organizational skills to setaccuratetimelines and tracking for all active projects, while preparing scheduling for upcoming work

Key Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Customer and Operations involved in the execution of a project

• Pre- planning and resource forecasting and inventory management


• Work with management for all major equipment/supply purchases


• Attend construction planning meetings and project/site walks


• Assist in quality control and safety of all projects


• Provide job site assistance to manage field operations


• Complete projects on schedule, within the allotted budget, and in accordance with QAQC standards


• Review all required reporting/collection of time and daily report logs (From operations/superintendents)


• Review/Approve/Submit all vendor and customer invoices, checking items, project info, dates, rates, etc

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience


• Experience managing CIPP, Manhole Coatings and other types of trenchless rehabilitation construction required


• Ability to travel for both long and short-term projects


• Extremely safety conscious and serve as an example to crew members


• Organized, detailed oriented and possess excellent time management and Microsoft Office skills with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Salary Range

• $85,000 to 110,000, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
