Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager, PD&E, to work closely with leadership on transportation infrastructure projects including major arterials, complex highways, and transit agencies across Florida. This role involves supervising a team, managing tasks, maintaining schedules, and providing guidance. Location flexibility includes Orlando, Lake Mary, Coral Gables, Tampa, or Jacksonville.

Our growing Transportation group offers comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for airports, bridges, rail, roadways, and transit projects throughout Florida.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Leading and developing transportation planning and PD&E project teams.
• Client development, project pursuits, and proposal preparation.
• Leading technical development of reports and studies.
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to community impact.
• Developing value-added solutions and pursuing contracts.
• Participating in industry organizations to enhance company profile.
• Strategic planning and business development.
• Supervising transportation professionals.
• Negotiating, planning, and ensuring quality project delivery.
• Reviewing designs for conformance with standards.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of civil engineering experience in highway/roadway transportation planning or design.
• Management experience in transportation projects including planning and PD&E studies.
• Experience in project pursuits and proposal development.
• Understanding of relevant codes and legal requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Florida P.E. license preferred.
