Job summary

Prism IT Global in Fort Mill, SC, seeks a Senior Project/Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end payments and financial services technology programs from initiation to implementation.

You will partner with business and technology leaders to define scope, milestones, and success metrics, while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, compliance, risk, QA, and third-party vendors. Strong PM leadership and regulatory understanding are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of payments, banking, and financial services technology programs from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and governance processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders to define scope, milestones, and success metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, compliance, risk, QA, and vendors.
• Drive execution of initiatives supporting payment networks, deposits, digital banking, and money movement.
• Facilitate project status meetings, steering committees, and executive communications.
• Track deliverables, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage delivery activities across Agile and traditional environments.
• Ensure technology implementations align with objectives, readiness, and regulatory expectations.
• Support testing, implementation planning, change management, training, and production deployment.
• Coordinate vendor management, integrations, and third-party dependencies.
• Monitor KPIs, delivery metrics, budget performance, and program health.

Job description

• Lead end-to-end delivery of payments, banking, and financial services technology programs from initiation through implementation
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, risks, dependencies, and governance processes
• Partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders to define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, compliance, risk, quality assurance, and third-party vendors
• Drive execution of initiatives supporting payment networks, payment rails, deposits, checking, treasury services, digital banking, account servicing, and money movement capabilities
• Facilitate project status meetings, steering committees, stakeholder reviews, and executive communications
• Track project deliverables, identify risks and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
• Manage delivery activities across Agile and traditional project environments
• Ensure technology implementations align with business objectives, operational readiness requirements, and regulatory expectations
• Support testing, implementation planning, change management, training, and production deployment activities
• Coordinate vendor management activities, integration efforts, and third-party dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project KPIs, delivery metrics, budget performance, and overall program health

Must Haves

• 7+ years of project management, program management, PMO, or delivery management experience within financial services
• Experience leading complex banking, payments, wealth management, treasury, deposits, checking, or money movement initiatives
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, transaction processing, account services, or financial products and platforms
• Experience managing large-scale technology projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and executive communications
• Experience facilitating stakeholder alignment across business, operations, and technology organizations
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, Agile delivery practices, and project governance frameworks
• Excellent communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

Good to Have

• Experience with payment rails and networks such as ACH, RTP, FedNow, Zelle, Card Payments, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, or similar money movement platforms
• Experience supporting deposit systems, checking platforms, treasury management, wealth management, brokerage, ETF, or investment services platforms
• Knowledge of payment modernization, core banking modernization, digital transformation, or cloud transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with API integrations, microservices architectures, and enterprise technology platforms
• Experience working in banking, fintech, wealth management, capital markets, or consulting environments
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, Open Banking, embedded finance, or modern payment technologies
• PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or comparable project management certifications
