White Cap in Joliet, IL is seeking an experienced operations professional to lead the installation and ongoing support of on-site solutions and optimize branch performance.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, IT, Finance and Marketing to align program requirements, monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy and uptime, and mentor branch managers to elevate customer satisfaction and efficiency.

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA with 2–4 years experience.

Nature and Scope

• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
• Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues.
• Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
• May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally, 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations, supply chain, or field services within construction or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of construction trades and safety compliance standards.
• Strong understanding of jobsite logistics and inventory management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and mobile inventory platforms (e.g., CribMaster).
• Familiarity with vending systems, mobile branch models, and badge-based access technology.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Pay

For Illinois job seekers: Pay Range $83,500.00-$130,100.00 Annual Illinois law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
