The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead Node management for the NSF PCL Test Bed. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, and scope across Scripps, UCLA, Sunthetics, and partners, and report to NSF.

This role sits on the Node Management Team, enabling governance, procurement, and onboarding. Strong communication and multi-institution collaboration are essential. Salary range $77,200–$96,500/year with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, CS, information systems, or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years' experience coordinating scientists and engineers on complex projects.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and scope across multi-institution programs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Node Director with budget, schedule, and scope management for the NSF award.
• Maintain strategic and execution plans; track instrument inventories and compliance.
• Lead NSF reporting and coordinate Node governance and user onboarding.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor engagements, and cross-node activities.
• Facilitate communications across ASF staff, investigators, engineers, and vendors.
