Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager, Fossil Fuel Power Generation (Natural Gas) for a 1-year contract (W-2), with location listed as Remote. You will lead early-stage project management for new natural gas-fired projects and report to the onsite Manager.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, manage contracts, and oversee engineering aspects using MS Project or Primavera.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree with focus on fossil fuel power generation or related field.
• 8 years in natural gas-fired power generation or related field design and project management.
• Experience in contract negotiation.
• Engineering background to oversee engineering aspects of projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project or Primavera scheduling software.

About the role:

We're looking for a Project Manager, Fossil Fuel Power Generation (Natural Gas) on behalf of our client. This is a 1-yrear contract assignment.(W-2) You would need to have experience in the fossil fuel power generation arena. You will lead the early-stage project management function supporting project origination and preparing for implementing new fossil fuel power generation projects. Projects include natural gas-fired simple cycle and combined cycle power generation projects. You will report to the onsite Manager.

You will participate in the project to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgetary constraints and perform according to expectations. Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the daily management of projects to ensure completion and cost-effective and results

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with focus on relevant field associated with fossil fuel power generation or related field.
• Experience: 8 years in natural Gas-fired power generation or related field design and project management
• Experience in contract negotiation
• Engineering background to ensure oversight of engineering aspects of projects
• Skill with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management and scheduling Software
