You will plan, coordinate, and deliver municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget compliance, while supporting new business development. The ideal candidate holds a B.S.

in Civil Engineering, a NJ P.E. license, 7+ years of municipal/land development experience, and proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• P.E. license in New Jersey is required.
• 7+ years of municipal/land development engineering experience.
• Knowledge of municipal procurement, contract administration, and capital project delivery.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• PMP certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage municipal projects from planning through completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepare reports and updates for management and Council.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legislation, and safety standards.
• Identify project risks and implement solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders, residents, and external agencies as required.

Position Summary

This client is seeking a Municipal Project Manager to join them in there Central Jersey office, where you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering municipal infrastructure and capital projects. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with municipal policies and regulatory requirements. As being a key member, you will also be responsible for development new businesses.

Brief Responsibilities
