Position Description

Position Summary

Plans, directs and manages several commercial construction projects at a time. The Project Manager is a take-charge leader who has a strong customer focus, a sense of urgency, a concern and respect for safety, and the desire to achieve quality in the final product.

Essential Functions

• Ensures safety is an everyday topic and supersedes all other factors to prevent accidents and create a safe working environment for everyone.

• Accountable for client project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning focused on achieving high quality, site safety, and aggressive schedules
• Facilitates building a collaborative team on each project – ability to work with a diverse group of trade contractors to build and lead a cohesive team that can successfully execute a project by meeting, or ultimately exceeding, schedule, budget and quality
• Communicates effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Builds, meets and drives project schedules by incorporating industry leading techniques such as Lean Construction
• Forecasts project cost and profitability
• Reviews drawings and submittals
• Ensures the correct materials are delivered to the project
• Estimates, plans and schedules construction projects
• Documents, negotiates and processes change orders
• Other duties as assigned

• Compensation - $115,000 - $140,000
• Annual Bonus; depends upon individual and company performance
