Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (MNAA CIP) to lead project planning, design, and construction for aviation facilities in Nashville, TN. The role emphasizes coordination among owners, consultants, and contractors to meet milestones and ensure quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and aviation facility construction is required.
  • Experience serving as an Owner's Representative.
  • Experience managing landside or facility-related projects (non-airfield).
  • Strong PM experience focused on planning, design, procurement and delivery, not supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develops scope, planning/concept documents, engineering and construction documents.
  • Develop procurement documents as project dictates.
  • Manages contract development and procurement selection process.
  • Negotiates contracts and change orders as needed.
  • Leads design and construction for development of plans and construction.
  • Oversees reviews for architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil submittals.
  • Performs constructability reviews of plans and specs.
  • Coordinates with all departments to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Oversees design and construction and administers meetings, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Maintains project reporting and database through tenant project and closeout.
  • Reviews construction schedule for completeness and progress.
  • Resolves issues with supervisory personnel, contractors, and consultants.
  • Coordinates activities among owners, officials, departments, contractors, and design team.
  • Identifies environmental hazards per OSHA regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Project Manager (MNAA CIP)

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager during the interview

Work Location: Nashville, TN ***

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.
  • Develop procurement documents as project dictates.
  • Manages contract development.
  • Participates in procurement selection process.
  • Negotiates engineering/architectural/construction contracts and change orders as necessary
  • Leads architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction
  • Oversees architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil reviews for all submittals
  • Performs constructability reviews of plans and specifications at required stages of design.
  • Coordinates with all departments to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and guidelines.
  • Oversees all design and construction.
  • Administer and attend meetings, reviews submittals, and shop drawings for work being performed.
  • Reports, maintains and updates project reporting and database throughout tenant project and project closeout.
  • Reviews construction schedule for completeness and progress.
  • Confers with supervisory personnel, contractors, design consultants, and other professionals to resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
  • Coordinates construction activities among property owners, state officials, departments, contractors, and design team to ensure projects are planned in logical steps, and time is budgeted to meet deadlines.
  • Identifies environmental hazards and addresses them in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience of relevant project management experience
  • Knowledge of airport operations and the construction of aviation facilities is required.
  • Experience serving as an Owner's Representative
  • Experience managing landside or facility-related projects (non-airfield)
  • Strong project management experience with an emphasis on planning, design, procurement, and project delivery rather than construction supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
