Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Sacramento is seeking a driven Mitigation Project Manager to lead water, fire, and mold restoration projects in Sacramento, CA. You will guide on-site assessments, develop scopes of work, and supervise technicians and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results while maintaining timelines and budgets.

You will work closely with homeowners, property managers, and insurers, ensuring compliance with IICRC standards and safety protocols, and strive for client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Prior experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation is strongly preferred.
• IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD/FSRT) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mitigation processes and drying science.
• Experience working with Insurance claims and documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion


• Conduct on-site inspections and develop detailed scope of work and project plans


• Coordinate and supervise field technicians, subcontractors, and crews to ensure quality and efficiency


• Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the project lifecycle


• Document project progress, moisture readings, and mitigation activities using industry software


• Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, safety protocols, and company guidelines


• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to maximize profitability and client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Prior experience in water/fire/mold mitigation or restoration project management strongly preferred


• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, or similar) a plus


• Strong knowledge of mitigation processes, drying science, and industry best practices


• Experience working with insurance claims and documentation


• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills


• Proficiency with restoration management software (Xactimate, Dash, or similar) preferred


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed
