Job Title: Project Manager - Marketing Operations
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Marketing Operations to support a fast‑paced global marketing organization within the financial technology and payments industry. This role is responsible for the operational planning, coordination, tracking, and governance of global marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned across multiple cross‑functional teams.

This is not a campaign strategy or execution role. Instead, you will serve as the operational lead responsible for project planning, timeline management, dependency tracking, resource coordination, risk management, stakeholder communication, and work management governance within Wrike.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting marketing operations, campaign operations, integrated marketing, or marketing program management within a large enterprise environment and is comfortable managing complex, cross‑functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and schedules for global marketing initiatives, integrated campaigns, and marketing programs.

  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams across marketing, creative, digital experience, marketing automation, analytics, data operations, commerce, solution architecture, and external partners to ensure projects progress according to plan.

  • Lead project kickoffs, planning meetings, status meetings, stakeholder reviews, and project governance discussions.

  • Track project progress, communicate updates, and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Identify, manage, and resolve project dependencies across multiple teams, systems, vendors, and business functions.

  • Proactively identify project risks, bottlenecks, and delivery challenges, escalating issues and facilitating resolution when needed.

  • Maintain RAID logs, dashboards, project documentation, status reports, and executive updates.

  • Ensure projects follow established governance processes, approval workflows, and project management standards.

  • Serve as the primary owner of project visibility and work management governance within Wrike.

  • Maintain accurate project plans, timelines, assignments, statuses, and documentation within project management platforms.

  • Monitor team capacity, workload distribution, resource utilization, and delivery risks across marketing teams.

  • Partner with team leaders to identify resource constraints and recommend adjustments to priorities, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, reporting, workflows, and operational efficiency.

  • Promote standardized project intake, prioritization, planning, reporting, and delivery practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Project Management, Marketing Operations, Campaign Operations, Marketing Program Management or Project Management supporting digital marketing or cross‑functional business initiatives.

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, campaigns, or business initiatives within a fast‑paced enterprise environment.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project lifecycle management, governance, and operational best practices.

  • Experience using project and work management platforms such as Wrike, Workfront, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or Smartsheet (Wrike preferred).

  • Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, risks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience preparing dashboards, reports, and executive‑level project updates.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global marketing organizations within fintech, payments, financial services, SaaS, or technology industries.

  • Experience with campaign operations, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, digital marketing workflows, or integrated marketing programs.

  • Experience with resource planning, capacity management, portfolio reporting, and project governance.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, or enterprise marketing technology ecosystems.

  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or similar project management certification is a plus.

What You'll Bring
  • Exceptional project planning, organization, and execution skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline.

  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both business teams and leadership.

  • Experience managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
