We are hiring immediately for a Senior Project Manager, Major Projects role, located anywhere in the US near a major airport. This role is critical to meeting customers' electricity, heating, and cooling needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Major Projects team in collaboration with Program Managers and Leaders
• Manage multiple complex projects throughout their lifecycle, adhering to formal project management principles
• Coordinate with engineering and other teams for estimates, drawings, and customer quotes
• Oversee 3-5 major projects simultaneously, with 30-40% requiring onsite leadership
• Plan and direct installation, commissioning, maintenance, and demobilization activities
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and objectives; report progress regularly
• Mentor junior project managers and promote best practices
• Conduct field assessments to improve team skills and processes
• Champion safety initiatives and foster a safe work environment
• Travel 40-60% across North America to various industries and environments

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
• 10+ years of project management experience in utility, petrochemical, refining, or construction sectors
• Project management certification (PMI, APM, or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Knowledge of HVAC/R, electrical power generation, transmission, or distribution is a plus
• Experience managing EPC or EPCM projects and teams
• Strong safety leadership and negotiation skills
• Decisiveness and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and regulations
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and in various environments
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Physical ability to lift objects under 50 lbs
