Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Scrum Master/Project Manager to support our client’s IT Application Development team. This individual will play a critical role in delivering software that drives business value and enhances the experience for both internal stakeholders and end users. The ideal candidate will lead a cross-functional team—including developers, testers, and analysts—focused on modernizing and transforming data warehouse and reporting systems.

Contract: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders and IT teams across the organization. Provide exceptional customer service and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and project progress.
2. Project Ownership And Delivery: Take full ownership of assigned projects, tasks, issues, and impediments, driving them to completion in line with Company’s project management standards. Lead multiple scrum teams on various initiatives.
3. Agile Facilitation And Implementation: Promote and embed agile methodologies and best practices. Facilitate work breakdown, collaboration, and sprint/release planning aligned with project goals.
4. Scrum And Agile Ceremony Management: Facilitate all core agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos. Maintain team artifacts and ensure organization of all iterative deliverables.
5. Technical And Business Analysis Support: Interpret business processes and system diagrams. Translate business needs into technical requirements and support solution design discussions. Encourage team collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Documentation And Tooling: Create and maintain documentation such as JIRA stories, acceptance criteria, architecture diagrams, and project wikis. Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint for project tracking and communication.
7. Performance Tracking: Monitor agile flow metrics to evaluate team performance and project health.

Required Skills And Experience

1. 3 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in agile project management of technical projects.
2. Strong ability to interpret business processes and system interactions.
3. Experience translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
4. Proven ability to lead analytical and collaborative discussions.
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience managing agile ceremonies and artifacts.
6. Ability to communicate risks, dependencies, and project status clearly to stakeholders.
7. Experience working closely with both business and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Agile/Scrum training or certification.
2. Experience with data warehouse and reporting systems.
3. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
