We Search People seeks an exceptional Project Manager for ultra-luxury residential construction in Central Houston. The role focuses on delivering $10M–$20M+ bespoke homes with a seasoned team, coordinating across designers, consultants, and suppliers to ensure top-tier quality.

The candidate will manage schedules, procurement, budgets, and field coordination, with frequent leadership interaction and direct client engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction project management experience, preferably luxury residential or similar high-end projects.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day project management and administration of assigned luxury residential projects.
• Coordinate with Field Construction Manager to control all aspects of delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, procurement programmes and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, approvals and correspondence.
• Monitor budgets, costs and forecasts with the commercial team.
• Identify delays, cost exposures, and risks with mitigation strategies.
• Lead regular project meetings and document actions.
• Coordinate long-lead material procurement and align with construction programme.
• Maintain rigorous project records and reporting for senior management and clients.
• Support resolution of technical, logistical and scheduling issues.
• Ensure standards, specifications and contractual requirements are met.
• Build relationships with high-end subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide clear communication to senior leadership throughout the lifecycle.
• Assist with client communications and presentations when appropriate.

We are seeking an exceptional Project Manager to join a highly regarded luxury residential construction business delivering some of the most prestigious private residences in Houston.

About the Role

Project Manager – Ultra-Luxury Residential Construction

• Location: Central Houston, TX
• Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 + benefits package
• Project Value: $10M – $20M+

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the delivery of $10M–$20M+ bespoke residential projects, working within a highly experienced construction team and alongside an established Field Construction Manager. The role is primarily office-based, with regular interaction with the field team, architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors and clients. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are exceptionally well organised, commercially controlled and delivered to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day project management and administration of assigned luxury residential projects.
• Work closely with the Field Construction Manager to coordinate and control all aspects of project delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, procurement programmes and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, approvals and project correspondence.
• Monitor project budgets, commitments, costs and forecasts in conjunction with the commercial team.
• Identify potential delays, cost exposures and project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Lead regular project meetings and ensure actions are clearly documented and followed through.
• Coordinate long-lead material procurement and ensure decisions are made in line with the construction programme.
• Maintain rigorous project records and reporting for senior management and clients.
• Support the Field Construction Manager in resolving technical, logistical and scheduling issues.

• Provide clear and professional communication to senior leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction project management experience, preferably within luxury residential or similarly complex high-end construction.

Required Skills

• Proven experience managing projects valued at $10M+.
• A strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle, from pre-construction and procurement through to completion and handover.
• Excellent knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, procurement and project administration.
• Experience coordinating multiple professional disciplines and specialist subcontractors.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand the financial implications of project decisions.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
• The confidence and professionalism to work with high-net-worth clients and their representatives.
• Strong attention to detail and a highly proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• The ability to work effectively with an experienced Field Construction Manager and translate project requirements into clear, executable plans.
