Job summary

Enerfab is seeking a Project Manager III to oversee the comprehensive management and successful execution of complex industrial construction projects in Wheatfield, Indiana. You will drive strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, client relationships, and team leadership to deliver results.

You will lead project management teams, manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety standards, and keep projects on time and within budget while maintaining quality and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of PM experience leading large industrial construction projects.
• Proficient in advanced PM software, scheduling tools, and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management teams and coordinate PMs and coordinators.
• Develop project strategies, scope, timelines, and budgets for large-scale work.
• Oversee resources, subcontractors, and equipment to optimize efficiency.
• Create and manage project budgets; monitor costs and change orders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software.
• Ensure quality and safety standards; address issues and root causes.
• Manage client relations; provide updates and resolve inquiries and changes.
• Prepare progress reports and present to senior management.

The Project Manager III is responsible for the comprehensive management and successful execution ofcomplex industrial construction projects. This role involves strategic planning, resource management,budget control, client relationship management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead and mentor project management teams, including Project Managers and Coordinators, providing guidance and support.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related decisions and escalations.

Project Planning and Strategy

• Develop project strategies, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets, for large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and success criteria.

Resource Management

• Manage and allocate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and coordination, ensuring adherence to project requirements.

Budget and Cost Control

• Create and manage project budgets for complex projects, continuously monitoring and controlling project costs.
• Evaluate and implement cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders.

Scheduling and Timeline Management

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for large-scale projects, using industry-standard scheduling software.
• Monitor project progress, proactively address delays, and implement corrective actions.

Quality Assurance

• Implement and oversee rigorous quality control processes to ensure construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
• Document and resolve complex quality-related issues.

Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks at a strategic level, ensuring overall project success.
• Develop and maintain risk mitigation plans and monitor risk factors.

Client Relations

• Serve as the primary client interface for large-scale projects, managing client expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
• Address complex client inquiries, issues, and change requests effectively.

Project Reporting

• Prepare and distribute comprehensive project status reports, performance metrics, and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, present status, and provide strategic recommendations.

Contract Management

• Review, negotiate, and manage project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with legal teams to manage contractual aspects and resolve complex disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in Project Management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in advanced project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
