Job summary

Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager licensed architect to guide projects from concept to construction in Milwaukee and surrounding markets.

You will oversee client engagement, team coordination, and technical precision, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality, while mentoring designers and coordinating with consultants.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect with 6+ years PM experience in senior living and mixed-use markets.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and licensing regulations (IBC, Wisconsin DHS, NFPA 101).
  • Proficiency in Revit and project delivery standards.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Excellent organization and communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of project delivery – entitlement, permitting, and construction administration.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients and consultants, driving clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Ensure drawings and deliverables align with client expectations, project goals, and quality standards (Design Progress Monitoring).
  • Coach and guide project architects and designers; delegate tasks effectively (Team Mentoring + Support).
  • Control contracts, budgets and timelines to keep projects on track (Financial + Schedule Management).

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead projects from concept through construction, balancing client engagement, team coordination, and technical precision. You’ll ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met while fostering strong relationships with clients and consultants. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse mix of project types, including senior living communities, mixed‑use/multifamily developments, and hospitality or hotel projects.
