Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in lighting distribution or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of lighting products, controls systems, fixture schedules, and project specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret lighting drawings, schedules, and project documents.
  • Experience working with electrical contractors, lighting designers, project managers, estimators, or purchasing teams.
  • Familiarity with material procurement, lead-time management, and jobsite coordination.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and industrial lighting projects from project award through final closeout.
  • Review lighting specifications, fixture schedules, controls packages, and project drawings for accuracy and alignment with requirements.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, submittals, approvals, lead times, shipping schedules, and phased jobsite deliveries.
  • Serve as the primary contact for lighting manufacturers, electrical contractors, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project schedules and identify risks related to material availability, construction timelines, labor, and site conditions.
  • Manage change orders, substitutions, and project revisions.
  • Track and maintain project documentation including orders, schedules, releases, approvals, and closeout documents.
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, logistics, warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Use ERP/project management systems to maintain visibility and accountability.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold EverLights' reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial and industrial lighting projects from project award through final closeout.
  • Review lighting specifications, fixture schedules, controls packages, and project drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, submittals, approvals, lead times, shipping schedules, and phased jobsite deliveries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for lighting manufacturers, electrical contractors, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively identify risks related to material availability, construction timelines, labor constraints, and site conditions.
  • Manage change orders, substitutions, and project revisions.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management experience in lighting distribution, lighting manufacturing, electrical distribution, electrical contracting, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of lighting products, controls systems, fixture schedules, and project specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret lighting drawings, schedules, and project documents.
  • Experience working directly with electrical contractors, lighting designers, project managers, estimators, or purchasing teams.
  • Familiarity with material procurement, lead-time management, and jobsite coordination.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, OASIS, Acumatica, NetSuite, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools.

Salary Range
