Job summary

WM is seeking a seasoned program manager to oversee planning and execution of large and moderately complex projects and programs in a professional office environment.

The role requires inspecting sites, assembling cross-functional teams, managing budgets and schedules, and supervising staff to ensure quality and timely results. Strong contract negotiation and liaison skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years previous experience (in addition to education requirement)

Responsibilities

  • Inspects and analyzes program sites, and monitors compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assembles program teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops schedules and determines and acquires resources needed.
  • Develops and maintains program plans and budgets and prepares and analyzes performance reports.
  • Negotiates, administers, and manages contracts of contractors and consultants.
  • Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting program.
  • Supervises team work processes and procedures and expenses and supports programs which drive team performance toward departmental and organizational goals.
  • Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Oversees program personnel needs including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration or similar area of study
High School Diploma or GED + 4 years of relevant work experience
Seven to ten years of relevant experience

Pay:

The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $101,535.00 – $131,880.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
