Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Land Development practice in Mesa, AZ!
Responsibilities
- The qualified individual will lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients.
- Leadership responsibilities include:
- Operating with integrity and sound business principles.
- Providing vision, business planning, and strategy.
- Establishing goals.
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Having open communication with your partners and team.
- Growing and leading a land development practice.
- Managing projects profitably, transitioning work to qualified staff, mentoring staff, and acting as a positive leader.
- Leading, directing, and growing your business with autonomy.
- Potential for rewards through bonuses and advancement to ownership.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Extensive client contacts with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and landowners.
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Business development experience, including proposal writing, scope of work, and budgeting.
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage and mentor staff and allocate resources positively.
- Proven ability to manage land development projects profitably.
