Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Land Development practice in Mesa, AZ!

Responsibilities
  1. The qualified individual will lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients.
  2. Leadership responsibilities include:
    1. Operating with integrity and sound business principles.
    2. Providing vision, business planning, and strategy.
    3. Establishing goals.
    4. Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
    5. Having open communication with your partners and team.
    6. Growing and leading a land development practice.
    7. Managing projects profitably, transitioning work to qualified staff, mentoring staff, and acting as a positive leader.
    8. Leading, directing, and growing your business with autonomy.
    9. Potential for rewards through bonuses and advancement to ownership.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Extensive client contacts with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and landowners.
  • Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Business development experience, including proposal writing, scope of work, and budgeting.
  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff and allocate resources positively.
  • Proven ability to manage land development projects profitably.
