Project Manager - Land in Irving, TX at Lennar

The Project Manager is responsible for supervising and directing all aspects of a community, including maintaining community schedules. This role involves coordinating with department heads and outside consultants for architectural design and site planning.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Maintain community and construction schedules, overseeing construction activities and quality control.
  2. Coordinate input from Division Executives on site and architectural design.
  3. Supervise and coordinate with outside consultants for architecture, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and soils engineering.
  4. Provide weekly reports on progress, trade partner meetings, agency contacts, problem resolution, and safety meetings.
  5. Create and maintain site budgets.
  6. Negotiate contracts with outside consultants.
  7. Assist in preparing feasibility studies.
  8. Coordinate DRE processing, CC&Rs, and set up HOAs, acting as a liaison and board member if needed.
  9. Secure and manage bonds.
  10. Coordinate model complexes and permits.
  11. Support the Operations Department during construction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in community development, redevelopment, economic development, or housing (public agency, private, or non-profit).
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields.
  • Advanced PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong management and organizational skills.

Physical & Office/Site Presence

This position is primarily sedentary but requires occasional physical activity such as bending, reaching, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and operating office equipment.
