You will also oversee estimation and project management of multiple teams.

Location

We operate where the work is, offering relocation based on project needs, skills, and career goals. Locations include TN, SC, ID, KS.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of Kiewit's safety culture, emphasizing 'Nobody Gets Hurt.'
  • Support executive leadership with strategy development and business initiatives.
  • Oversee multiple construction teams during preconstruction and construction phases.
  • Develop strategic plans for new business opportunities and foster client relationships.
  • Manage client relationships to generate new business.
  • Collaborate during preconstruction, estimating, and proposal development.
  • Lead contract negotiations and solutions.
  • Participate in community and industry organizations as a leader.
  • Manage project performance, including financials, schedule, and client relations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, employee development, recruiting, and retention.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
  • 15+ years of experience in commercial and nuclear construction, including managing outages at nuclear plants.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as Project Manager, Design Manager, or similar leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of construction standards, scheduling, contracts, and discipline coordination.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project control software like MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
  • Staff management experience.
  • Expertise in project management, estimating, and business processes.
