Position Overview

Are you looking for an opportunity to be a part of a new, emerging nuclear market? Our nuclear safety culture is strong at Kiewit Nuclear Solutions. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with various project management team members to oversee the performance of commercial construction projects and manage client relationships. You will also oversee estimation and project management across multiple teams.

District Overview

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions offers engineering, project management, and construction services across North America, specializing in nuclear-related markets from small modular reactors to nuclear security missions. We operate in power, renewable energy, industrial, and infrastructure markets, backed by 135 years of construction and engineering excellence.

Location

We adapt to where the work is, relocating teams based on project needs and individual development goals. Locations include TN, SC, ID, KS.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead safety culture initiatives, emphasizing 'Nobody Gets Hurt.'
  2. Support executive leadership with strategic development and business initiatives.
  3. Oversee multiple construction teams during preconstruction and construction phases.
  4. Develop strategic plans for new business opportunities and foster client relationships.
  5. Manage client relationships to generate new business.
  6. Participate in preconstruction, estimating, and proposal development.
  7. Lead contract negotiations and solutions.
  8. Engage in community and industry leadership through organizational participation.
  9. Manage project performance, including financials, schedules, and client relations.
  10. Ensure staffing resources are adequate, and support employee development, recruitment, and retention.
Qualifications
  1. Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
  2. 15+ years of experience in commercial and nuclear construction, including managing outages at nuclear power plants.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  4. Experience as a Project Manager, Design Manager, or similar leadership roles in construction.
  5. Knowledge of construction standards, scheduling, contracts, and subcontractor management.
  6. Strong communication and leadership skills.
  7. Proficiency with project control software and Microsoft Office.
  8. Experience in staff management, project estimates, and business processes.
  9. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Ability to perform work safely, following instructions and policies.
  • Availability to work overtime and at various locations.
