As an independent, family-owned MedTech company, we ambitiously think in generations instead of quarters to improve patients' lives around the world.

About the Role

As the Project Manager IV, you will lead cross-functional teams in the development of innovative medical devices used in endoscopic surgery. You will be responsible for driving complex product development programs from concept through product release, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

In this role, you'll collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and external partners to develop project strategies, manage resources, and guide teams through an Agile product development environment. Your leadership will play a key role in bringing innovative medical technologies to market while supporting continuous improvement across the organization.

This role has a hybrid work schedule - Enjoy a four-day workweek! Employees work Monday through Thursday, with three days onsite in our Goleta, CA office, one remote workday, and Fridays off.

What You'll Do
  • Lead cross-functional product development teams through all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to commercial release.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to project teams while fostering collaboration in an Agile development environment.
  • Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, suppliers, consultants, and external partners to support project objectives and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Support evaluation of new technologies, product concepts, and process improvements to drive innovation and operational excellence.
  • Ensure project documentation is maintained throughout the development process and complies with applicable quality system requirements.
  • Participate in strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and organizational priorities that support business objectives.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline.
  • 7-11 years of experience in project management, product development, marketing, design engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Knowledge of medical device quality systems and applicable regulations, including FDA Quality System Regulation (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485, and ISO 9001.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and budget management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
What Will Make You Successful
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills that inspire collaboration and accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex technical projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile product development environment while consistently meeting project milestones.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams, external suppliers, and business partners.
  • Previous experience in the medical device industry and familiarity with operating room environments is preferred.
