Job summary

Walbec Group is offering a Project Manager Summer 2027 Internship. You will assist with scheduling, budgets, reports, and weekly schedules while gaining exposure to site activities and safety programs.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, are self-starters, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. This on-site internship supports collaboration across project teams in the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project scheduling, coordination, budgets, progress reports, and weekly project schedules.
• Support quantity reporting, cost tracking, labor budgets, and material scheduling.
• Communicate with Construction Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain project updates.
• Assist with material requisitions, project documentation, and general project administration.
• Participate in jobsite visits and observe construction activities, progress, and quality.
• Assist with addressing project delays, weather impacts, and other jobsite challenges.
• Support site safety efforts and participate in owner, subcontractor, and project meetings.
• Assist with quality control and building positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and project team members.
