Job summary

Louisiana Cat in New Iberia, LA, is seeking a Project Manager to interface daily with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver power solutions safely, on schedule and on budget. You will oversee projects, review drawings, manage submittals, and drive continuous improvement using ERP, CRM, and project management tools.

This role requires strong engineering knowledge, teamwork, and clear communication, supporting Caterpillar products and services with a focus on safety and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in engineering/construction/related fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned projects to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
• Inspect Cat Power installations for conformance to design, equipment specs and safety standards.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Plan and apply research methods using sound engineering principles.
• Utilize ERP, Project Management and CRM systems for data and reporting.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure compliance with Caterpillar standards and customer needs.
• Develop and submit complete project submittals for review and approval.
• Investigate customer complaints and recommend timely remedial actions.
• Assist budgeting and estimation of labor and material costs for projects.
