Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in Dallas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground-up industrial and manufacturing construction projects. You will guide projects from inception and preconstruction through execution and closeout, coordinating with owners, design teams, and field staff to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of construction PM experience, design-build exposure, and a degree in engineering or construction management.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Design-build construction experience preferred.
• Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mission Critical experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from inception through completion.
• Oversee estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project execution.
• Support contract negotiations and proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with owners and design teams during early project development.
• Develop accurate and complete project estimates.
• Participate in owner proposal meetings and provide value-engineering ideas.
• Manage subcontractor selection and project buyout process.
• Lead jobsite meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Organize and manage multiple project activities while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead ground-up construction projects in Dallas with an established national general contractor.

This is a great opportunity for a construction professional who wants to take ownership of projects from initial concept and preconstruction through execution and closeout. The company works across a diverse range of project types and is open to candidates from a variety of construction backgrounds.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage construction projects from inception through completion
