Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Project Manager in the U.S. southeast region to lead end-to-end equipment projects, directing teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

You will handle administration, implementation, and management of control projects, ensuring on-time delivery and aligned objectives with customers. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, engineering technology, or business management with 3–5 years in estimating, engineering, or construction management, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology or business management.
• Knowledge of construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and HVAC/temperature controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans and specifications.
• Experience with computer estimating and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction plans to meet customer requirements and develops equipment solutions with Account Managers, Suppliers and customers.
• Coordinates selection, pricing and integration of equipment, controls and services for each project.
• Creates detailed cost estimates and resolves deviations from scope with the team.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and risks; negotiates prices with vendors and sub-contractors; plans project schedules and parameters.
• Maintains forecasted cost at completion and tracks cash-flow management.
