Job summary

Kimmel Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager for electrical construction projects in Phoenix, overseeing preconstruction through completion. You will lead client relationships, coordinate with field teams, and ensure safety, schedule, and profitability.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, change orders, RFIs, and subcontractor coordination. Strong communication and leadership are essential in a fast-paced environment with a solid regional and national contractor

Qualifications

  • Electrical contracting experience is required.
  • Proven experience managing electrical construction projects.
  • Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical construction strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, and change-order processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client and project-team relationships.

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project correspondence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and project partners.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with company standards for quality, safety, schedule, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during project turnover and throughout execution.
  • Provide leadership, communication, and accountability across the project team.

About the Position

The Project Manager will be responsible for providing overall leadership and management for electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This individual will work closely with clients, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Requirements


  • Electrical contracting experience is required.
