PROJECT MANAGER III (REMOTE)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Project Management Teams manage cross-functional projects. They collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to ensure projects meet financial, schedule, and customer expectations. Responsibilities include defining and creating project schedules, managing portfolios, communicating and executing programs, identifying resource constraints, and working with management for resolution, all while adhering to LeanPD processes.

The Project Manager plays a critical role in executing the project portfolio, new product development, capacity expansion, production localization, and tooling for the PMO.

What Your Background Should Look Like
  • Generate reports (standard and customized) related to project execution.
  • Lead a team of cross-functional core team members.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget within the assigned business segment.
  • Develop and manage project plans and gap closure plans as needed.
  • Follow established Stage Gate processes and ensure the integrity of project deliverables.
  • Plan and lead Stage Gate reviews for business segment management.
  • Utilize enterprise-level project systems to manage plans, data, and actions.
  • Manage project capital budgets, ensuring alignment with financial plans.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and with quality.
  • Maintain project scope throughout the lifecycle, including scope change management.
  • Establish and maintain an accurate project schedule using TE’s tools or similar.
  • Conduct status meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track lessons learned and best practices.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues, establishing escalation paths.
  • Report monthly KPI reviews for projects.
  • Communicate clearly and frequently with the team and stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing projects in new product development and sustaining projects.
  • Knowledge of Operations/Manufacturing processes.
  • Industry experience in the connector market is desirable.
  • Experience with LEAN processes and gate milestone development.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Culturally sensitive.
  • Experience managing global projects with virtual teams.
  • Strong leadership, goal-setting, and motivation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to customize reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects globally.
  • Proactive, resilient, and self-confident.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $94,000 – $118,000 (dependent on location and experience).
  • Total Compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
