Job summary

CCI- Computer Consultants International, Inc. is seeking an experienced project leader to manage software implementations and full delivery lifecycles. The role emphasizes governance, planning, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.

Qualifications

Job description

*Candidates MUST be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed.

**Candidate MUST be your OWN COMPANY'S W2 and not a 1099 contractor or sub-contractor as the State allows sub-vendor 1 level deep only.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Software implementation and rollout management, including deployment planning, readiness, testing, and transition to operations. (10+ years)
• Strong project controls, including integrated planning, dependency management, risk and issue resolution, and clear status reporting. (10+ years)
• Stakeholder communication and coordination, including communicating impacts, decisions, and progress to both leadership and affected groups. (10+ years)
• Cross-functional leadership, with the ability to align internal teams, vendors, and subject matter experts and move decisions forward. (10+ years)

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with organizational change management, including communications planning, training coordination, and adoption readiness.
• Experience managing vendor-delivered software or large public-sector implementations.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
• A bachelor’s degree in project management, business, information technology, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent education and substantial experience leading complex software implementations should also be considered.

The position leads initiatives throughout the full delivery life cycle, including discovery, selection, initiation, planning, execution, product development, testing, deployment, adoption, stabilization, transition to operations, evaluation, and closure. Responsibilities include establishing appropriate governance structures; defining scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and success measures; and ensuring that work is completed in accordance with applicable quality, privacy, security, confidentiality, accessibility, regulatory, and operational requirements.

This position coordinates business, program, product, technical, data, privacy, security, vendor, and executive stakeholders. The incumbent facilitates collaboration across bureaus, offices, programs, departmental information technology teams, contractors, and external partners to identify business needs, resolve complex issues, manage competing priorities, and support timely and informed decision-making. Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences are essential.
