Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries is seeking a Project Manager III to manage the full life cycle of FDA OFPR projects. You will coordinate across technical teams, stakeholders, and government leadership, ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations.

The role supports project planning, requirements gathering, and reporting using PM software and MS Office. A PMP is preferred, with a minimum seven years of PM experience in an enterprise IT setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with seven years of PM experience or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain customer clearance.
  • Experience managing projects in enterprise IT and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, organization, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.

  • Manage projects within an enterprise IT environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Plan, timeline, and resource identification; oversee full life cycle from initiation to completion.
  • Develop scopes, schedules, milestones, and deadlines; maintain documentation.
  • Lead meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and status reports; track progress.
  • Provide updates to leadership on status, risks and obstacles; ensure timely deliverables.

The Project Manager III manages, plans and coordinates the full life-cycle of projects for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), specifically for the Office of Food Policy and Response (OFPR). This position helps to ensure that the goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. serves as a holding company with multiple subsidiaries engaged in several lines of business (Technology, Infrastructure & Engineering, Health, Manufacturing, Public Safety, Consulting, and Transportation) for the federal government and commercial enterprises. Conduct timely follow‑up to ensure actions are addressed.Tracks project progress, document milestones, and update timelines for assigned deliverables.Keeps the Office Director, Deputy Director, and Senior Leadership informed of project status, risks, and potential obstacles.Provides updates on working group activities and ensure reports and deliverables are submitted by required deadlines.Conducts requirements gathering, develops project charters, WBS, schedules, and timelines.Applies project management best practices and federal regulatory standards.Drives process improvements and implements best‑in‑class planning, scheduling, and budgeting practices.Produces high‑quality reports, documentation, and presentations.Utilizes Microsoft Office and project management tools effectively.Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.Works independently and in a highly collaborative team environment.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of seven (7) years relevant project management experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWork is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
