The immediate priority will be developing and implementing project reporting processes, including schedule, cost, risk, milestone, and overall project status reporting.

Project Development & Execution Support
  • Support engineering and construction activities throughout technology review, preliminary engineering, contracting, and project development phases
  • Coordinate technical input for site configuration reviews, constructability assessments, and balance-of-plant evaluations
  • Support scopes related to gas and electrical interconnection, switchyards, civil/site infrastructure, and other project interfaces
  • Track development, permitting, regulatory, and construction milestones
  • Identify project dependencies and potential impacts to construction readiness and execution
Project Controls, Reporting & Risk Management
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost benchmarks, cash flow models, and other project controls
  • Own and maintain project risk registers, tracking scope, schedule, cost, procurement, and constructability risks
  • Identify and elevate scope changes that may create cost or schedule impacts
  • Support risk-adjusted cost assessments and contingency analysis
  • Develop and manage monthly and quarterly project reporting, including schedule status, cost performance, risk exposure, and milestone tracking
  • Create concise project dashboards and presentation materials covering scope, budget, equipment status, interconnection, permitting, key decisions, and project risks
  • Prepare executive-level project status packages that clearly communicate emerging risks, mitigation strategies, and residual exposure
  • Ensure project reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable for leadership and project stakeholders
Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain teams on RFQ development, technical scope reviews, and bid evaluations for major equipment and EPC/EPCM scopes
  • Support cost comparisons between internal estimates and contractor proposals, identifying material variances and potential scope alignment issues
  • Track long-lead equipment procurement and delivery, including combustion turbines, HRSGs, transformers, and switchgear
  • Identify and communicate potential supply chain constraints, equipment availability issues, and schedule impacts
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in energy project development, project controls, or large capital construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing project schedules for gas generation or major capital projects

  • Familiarity with electrical interconnection processes and related engineering and construction requirements
  • Experience coordinating procurement of long-lead equipment in constrained OEM markets
  • Exposure to balance-of-plant scopes, including switchyards, transmission, civil/site infrastructure, and related facilities
  • Experience working across Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions
