Job summary

TPI Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer with 7–10 years of gas transmission experience to lead capital projects from development through construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide technical oversight for multiple gas transmission capital projects.
  • Coordinate with Area Operations and Engineering staff to optimize facilities and reliability.
  • Support cost estimating, budgeting, material specs, bid packages, and contractor selection.
  • Provide technical support during construction and on-site commissioning.
  • Identify and manage risks, exposures, opportunities, and execution challenges.
  • Develop project status reports and communicate with management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies and regulatory bodies on development, filings and reporting.
  • Develop execution strategies and assess contractor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, DOT, EPA, SOPs, and O&M requirements.
  • Travel approximately 25% to support project activities.

Are you an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer with 7–10 years of gas transmission experience looking for an opportunity to lead capital projects from development through construction and commissioning?

We’re seeking a Project Manager to provide technical and project oversight for regional maintenance capital projects and facility optimization initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across operations, engineering, contractors, regulatory agencies, and field teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective projects.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and provide technical oversight for multiple gas transmission capital projects
  • Partner with Area Operations and Operations Technical Staff to optimize facilities and improve reliability
  • Support cost estimating, budgeting, material specifications, bid packages, and contractor selection
  • Provide technical support throughout construction and on-site commissioning
  • Identify and manage project risks, exposures, opportunities, and execution challenges
  • Develop project status reports and facilitate communication with management and project stakeholders
  • Coordinate directly with outside agencies and regulatory bodies on project development, implementation, certification filings, technical responses, and reporting
  • Help develop project execution strategies and make recommendations regarding contractor performance
  • Ensure projects are executed in compliance with company procedures, DOT, EPA, SOPs, and O&M requirements
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong organization, communication, documentation, and follow-through
  • 7–10 years of experience in gas transmission or a related industry
  • Experience with capital projects, project management, engineering, construction, or commissioning
  • Strong understanding of technical and regulatory requirements within the natural gas/gas transmission industry
  • Ability to make sound technical judgments and develop practical, feasible project solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%
